Hello Everyone:
In this month’s Pressing
News, we’re
featuring information on our annual Food Drive. This
program was started two
years ago and was quite successful. As you can
imagine, the cold winter we
had has taken a toll on the supply of food items in the
Larimer and Weld food
banks, so you help is needed.
There are discount coupons available in the recent
ValPak blue
envelope. Also, the next edition of
ValPak Select
magazine
will feature a full page announcement of the food
drive along with more coupons.
Lastly, there is a coupon at the end of this newsletter.
The various coupons
are for the free cleaning of a garment when you bring
in a food item donation.
Of course, we will accept a donation without a
drycleaning order.
Also, please remember, if you can't use the coupon
we include in the newsletter,
you can go to our website at www.thecleaners.
net for more coupons and
information on our company.
Finally, if you do not wish to receive our newsletter
you should use the easy
unsubscribe link at the top of page. That's a lot more
efficient than hitting
reply and asking me to do it. Also, if you'd like to
share our newsletter with
a friend, use the "forward to a friend link"
at the bottom of this
email.
See you later,
Jim Nixon

March 1 – April 30, 2007
Caring people throughout
our area are asking how they can supply some of
the basic food needs for their neighbors who need
help now. In an effort
called Family Food Drive, Foothills and Nu-Way
Cleaners in Larimer and Weld
Counties have set up donation barrels at all ten of
their locations to collect
newly-purchased, unopened, non-perishable food
items and canned goods. All
donations will go to the Weld Food Bank, and to the
Food Bank for Larimer
County. There’s even free dry-
cleaning available with a food
donation and the payment for dry-cleaning of a
similar garment. Please go
to www.valpak.com for a
coupon.
Also, cash donations can be made to these food
banks throughout the year They
reduce hunger by distributing food to individuals
and families, and in cooperation
with more than 200 non-profit agencies that serve
those in need. In
2006 the Food Banks distributed more than ten
million pounds of food to hungry
people, half of them children. For every one
dollar donated to the
food banks in Weld and Larimer Counties, they can
provide a family with enough
food for four meals.
Call to donate food or funds, or to volunteer on an
as-need basis. In
Larimer County, call 493-4477, or visit them at www.foodbanklarimer.org.
In
Weld County call 356-2199 or visit them at www.info@weldfoodbank.org
